Helpers for Sunday, jan 12th

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Every Sunday we serve a snack breakfast in the youth kitchen from 9:30-9:45. Classes will begin at 9:45 and there will be a sign above the door for the age of your child. This month we are learning about Elijah and Elisha. Come be a part of THE most important school your child can go to....Sunday School!!!!









UPCOMING EVENTS

January 1-31st....Coat drive...bring your new or gently used coats to church to donate to caring place

January 15th...Wednesday night choirs resume











JAM and SONSHINE KIDS

Children ages 3, 4 and 5 are invited to Sonshine Kids and K-3rd graders are invited to JAM every Sunday during the 10:45 morning worship service. We learn all about God and his Love through music, lessons, crafts and games.

On the first Sunday of the Month, we will not have JAM, we encourage children to sit with their families in worship and partake in communion.

Puppet Schedule: Dec 11th practice with Choir 6:00-7:30 Dec 14th Full Dress Rehersal 11:00-12:00 Dec 15th Childrens Play 10:45 Puppets will not meet again until February

Nursery Info

In order to make our nursery a safer environment, Please be sure and Label all bags, bottles, cups, and snacks. Due to so many allergies, we will not be providing snacks. If you would like for your child to eat a snack, Please bring them one from home labeled with their name on it. Our Nursery has moved from the current location to the CDC nursery. Come check out our great big new space!

Mission Drives for Kids

We will be collecting shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child until Monday, November 25th. Information and labels are set up on the table in the narthex.

We are collecting Box Tops for Arnold Memorial Elementary. Please save your box tops and drop them off in the office.

We are collecting school supplies for Arnold Elementary. Please drop them off in the commons in the big red school house.

At Vacation Bible School this year we collected $190.00 to go to Harry Howell's Miles of Pennies! We also collected items for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes! Way to go kids!

We will be collecting items for the hands on mission project for the Holsten Conference...Each Sunday school room has a list of items for your child to bring. Kits are to be turned in May 28th thru June 3rd!!!!!

Please remember to bring your Lenten Offerings of quarters you have collected each day of Lent this Sunday, Easter Sunday!!!!

We are also collecting plastic walmart, grocery store bags for the caring place. This is an easy collection(We know everyone has them at home) but the Caring Place really needs them. You can drop them off in the barrel in the JAM and puppet room.

We are starting a campaign against Malaria in Africa and we are asking children to give 10 dollars to purchase a mosqito net which will save one life! Yes, Just 10 dollars saves a life! Please encourage your children to do chores around the house to earn the money. Our church goal is to purchase 500 nets.

We collected over 150 Coats and Blankets for the Caring Place !!!!!!!!! Way to Go, You have warmed up many children and adults this Winter!

We collected 97 cans of tuna for caring place during VBS!

We have raised over $190.00 this summer to be given to camp lookout for a new air conditioning! Way To GO!!!!!
