An invitation to Grow

In the next 13 Sundays, the children will hear about Isaiah's prophecy about the birth of Jesus as well as many significant stories that surround his birth. Some stories are familiar to some and some will become more familiar as they grow, but it is our job as a church to make sure that children of all ages truley understand the reason for the celebration of Christmas.

In addition the children will hear stories that Jesus told, these stories are some of the most important ones in the Bible. We will be teaching them the Lord's prayer and and I would encourage you to say the prayer with them at home.

In this very busy and commercialized season, I challenge you to slow down....make an EXTRA effort to attend Sunday School and church events this Holiday season. It is during this time that many values and morals will be established as well as developing a close personal connection to your children and to our church. Blessings.

FALL FUN DAY Oct 24th 6:00-7:30

Join us for a big fun night of Bouncers, slides, games, prizes, and lots of treats! We need LOTS of Help!!! All youth and parents are encouraged to sign up to work a station or a booth for a 45 minute shift! Children(and adults) can come dressed up(NO SCARY COSTUMES please!) and fellowship together in the fun!

HOW WILL YOU SERVE??????

Well we are all headed in to the hustle and bustle and running of a new school year. As you begin scheduling meetings and practices and games, my challenge to you is to schedule in a little church in your life. Make a committment to take time this year and slooooooow things down and set aside Sundays for a will reserved day of fellowship with your church family and growing closer to Christ! Our children's Ministry is wonderful and as always continually growing. We are in need of your help. We have several positions that need to be filled ASAP. Prayerfully consider volunteering in one of these areas and see how God can move in life!

Walk Around Easter

Walk Around Easter

This year we are adding an Easter Walk during the night of our Egg Hunt. Please drop off 12 candy filled eggs(NO NUTS PLEASE) in the commons anytime between now and Palm Sunday. As for the walk...Your whole family is encouraged to walk through Jesus' last week on earth. We need as many volunteers as possible to help and are asking all of the Sunday School classes in the gym to get involved too. Make note we will hunt eggs PROMPTLY at 6:00....Then our walk will start around 6:20 and should last right at an hour. Please bring friends and other families to join in on the fun. We look forward to seeing you and your family!
